The phone/number I’m using isn’t the one associated with the account. The one that’s on there is my previous phone number that I no longer have. The support team usually asks if I have access to the number on the account. so, I know it’s not the one I’m currently using. I guess I could barrow someone’s phone and try to log in real quick, is that what your suggesting.?

Thanks for your response, it is possible to log into your Microsoft Account using a phone number but, the phone number must already be associated and verified with the account to allow for log in.
