i cant use realms on minecraft for ps4

okay so; ive seen a bunch of people have this issue and i can not fix it or find a solution anywhere. i am 16 and my Microsoft account is set up to say that i am 16. my friend recently set up a realm for all of us to play on and i cant join, when i try to i get the error message "you cannot play on Realms because of how your Microsoft account is set up. Please ensure that your online safety settings allow multiplayer and clubs." if i go onto the link associated with it it tells me how to fix it for xbox and xbox accounts, i do not own an xbox or have an xbox account and i cant find anything on how to fix it for playstation. i do not have a parent associated with my account or any other accounts connected to mine so i cant get someone else over 18 to fix it. i really dont know what to do and ive spent literal hours trying to fix it

ive made another microsoft account saying im over 18 and connected it and i cant figure out how to change my settings for my original account through that

ive made an xbox account and can fix it through that

ive tried signing in with the new account on ps4 and it doesnt even log in

These settings may need to be set to "allow" or "everyone"

* You can see and upload community creations

* You can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice & text

* Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites

* You can play with people outside of Xbox Live

* You can create and join clubs

* You can join multiplayer games

Make sure to hit “submit” when you made any changes.

okay, shes done all that and signed into xbox settings and all the settings are set to friends, the options that can be changed are:

See other people's Xbox Live profilesYou can use video for communicationsYou can see and upload community creationsYou can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice & textOthers can see your Xbox profile detailsOthers can communicate with voice, text, or invitesOthers can see your friends listOthers can see if you're onlineOthers can see your game and app historyOthers can see your captures on Xbox LiveOthers can see your club membershipsOthers can see your activity feedall are set to friends only

Awesome. Now your mom needs to sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/family and then add your account as a "member", she will immediately see the option from there. Once you're added and verified, your mom will then sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings to manage your settings.

If you're still a minor your parents/guardian needs to manage this for you.

Ask an adult to sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/family and then add you as a member and once you're added as a member, they will then sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings to manage your account and privacy settings.
