I can't use a custom image on Xbox

Are custom gamer pics allowed?

I heard on the Xbox one beta app that you can use an image for a custom gamer pic, is that allowed for a custom gamer pic?

Hi,

I have a problem with my custom xbox profile image. Maybe someone can give me a tip.

When I select an image on XBox One, Xbox One X or XBox iOS App the image is uploaded without error message. All friends see my new image BUT on my own devices the new image is not shown. It works with predefined images on my devices BUT not with a custom
image. I've tried it with dozens images, all at least 1080x1080px. And as I said: My friends see the new custom picture. Any ideas?

Additional Info: I have a custom user image on my Microsoft Account. I want the same image on my XBox devices.

You must wait till you actually turn 18 whenbyou set the original dob when you created your account

 

How did you determine your account is "adult"? The adultness of an account is determined by the birthdate that you entered, when you created the account, and after it is stored on your Gamertag, it can't be changed afterwards.

So even if you changed the birthdate on your Microsoft Account, the birthdate will stay the same on the Gamertag, and that determines if you are able to upload a custom Gamerpic in case you're over 18 (or 20 if you're in Korea).

If you're not of legal adult age according to the birthdate in your Gamertag, then you can't upload your custom picture.

When you create an account on the Xbox site or any Xbox console, the birthdate that is set is a permanent birthdate.

Therefore, changing the date of birth only allows you to show a different date of birth.

Unfortunately, the account would have to wait for a graduation date, whenever the account turns 18.
