    I can't update the "Microsoft Store" app


    Hi,

    when I try to update the Microsoft Store app on Xbox Series X, nothing happens at all.

    This app, along with other system applications, is blocking my download queue.

    Every day, the Microsoft Store app (and sometimes other preinstalled system apps) tries to update it.

    It appears in the queue, but nothing happens. No update will take place, nor will it display any progress or error. This is how it waits there until I cancel the update or stop it (even all day).

    I tried changing my profile. I tried factory reset of xbox. All without success.

    All apps and games installed by me are downloaded and updated without any problem.

    Do you have any advice on how to get rid of this problem, please?

    Do you have an external hard drive plugged in to the console right now?

    If yes, can you unplug it and Please Turn off console > (press and hold power button for 10 seconds) unplug everything from the console > wait for 2 minutes and plug everything back > Turn On the console.

    Once done, please check if the issue still persist while the external hard drive is unplugged.

    Hi, from what I see you can't pause the downloads from the app itself. However if you open the Microsoft Store app and look in Downloads and updates you should be able to pause game/app updates from there.

    Everytime i try to log in with my Microsoft Account in Andy App on my Windows 11 pc the loginwindow disappears instantly. I can‘t Even log in in Microsoft Store.

    The Main Problem ist IT doesn't Matter which App i use i cant log in. So for example Minecraft, calender, Microsoft Store and so in i can't even geht Updates in the Store. Windows is the newest Version.

    If you're having problems with an app you got from Microsoft Store in Windows 10, here are some things you can try:

    • Update Microsoft Store: Select the Start button >
      Microsoft Store . Select See more > Downloads and updates >
      Get updates. If an update for Microsoft Store is available, it will start installing automatically.
    • Repair and reset the app: Select the Start button >
      Settings > Apps >
      Apps & features. Select the app that's not working, and then select Advanced options. On the page that opens with information about the app, select
      Repair. (Note: Some apps don't have this option.) If repairing the app doesn't fix the problem, select Reset.
    • Uninstall and reinstall the app: Select the Start
      button. In the list of apps, right-click the one that's not working, select
      Uninstall, and select Uninstall again to confirm. To reinstall the app, select the
      Start button > Microsoft Store >
      See more > My Library >
      Apps. Then select the app you want to reinstall, and select
      Install.
    • Try running the troubleshooter for Microsoft Store apps. Select the
      Start button > Settings >
      Update & Security > Troubleshoot >
