I cant update my Xbox one s new

I have the same problem with my new xbox one s. I cant get the initial system update to download.

I jus bought my new xbox one s dont wanna go past the update screen should've jus bought a ps4 it's sad xbox cant do nothing to help us

I've just had a look for that error message and can see someone else reported it before and it appeared to be related to a network issue.

After checking the Xbox service status I can see they currently have issues with the core services.

Keep an eye on that and check again when it's back up and running, hopefully that will solve the issue, but if not then let us know.
