I can't update my profile picture.

I read somewhere that someone changed their profile to a custom pic during the COVID-19 events. However I'm not certain about whether that was true.

You can change your profile pic as long as it is a default option in the profile pic list. You just can't create a custom profile pic because they need to be approved before the change takes place. While there is an increase in demand on other issues,
they are disabling the custom gamer pic ability temporarily to handle those issues.

The changing of gamerpics is currently down due to the numbers of users now on since they can stay home, but the person who had been able to change their profile may have gotten to be able to change their profile before it was turned off.

Just wanted to say my custom profile picture updated finally 5 days I after this issue started. Unfortunately it was the first profile picture of the 15 different ones I selected so I probably have to wait a few more days for the actual profile picture I wanted to be equipped.

They have temporarily disabled some features to reduce strain on the servers. One of the features to be disabled, unfortunately, is the ability to upload a custom profile picture.
