I can't unlock achievements due to the new update

    I can't unlock achievements due to the new update


    Hi,

    Can someone please help me?

    I have downloaded the new update for Minecraft and linked my world to it and loaded it up played a while and noticed you can unlock new achievements but I wasn't unlocking any. I was puzzled by this and I looked around and saw someone else was having the
    same issue however no one really helped him so basically it looks like when you link a world it switches on the cheats slider and ofcourse that stops you unlocking achievements.. but I've never selected this on the old edition or the new one.. I have spoke
    to Xbox live support twice we no result and have been asked to talk to the rewards team which I though they wouldn't be able to help me. I was right they can't.. I have also spoke to Mojang and they were no help either... This bug has ruined my game as I want
    the achievements..

    Please help me.. as I'm getting fed up of going around in circles..

    Once updating to the new preview update I cant unlock any achievements

    You can't unlock any previous achievements you have earned after you are reset. And new games you play you can unlock the achievements in. Makes since?

    We're sorry to hear about this issue. Unfortunately, once the world has been switched to creative mode, for whatever reason, it no longer qualifies for achievements. We aren't able to speculate on why the transfer turned on creative mode, but the developers
    would be able to clarify.

    Yes. I've unlocked those achievements when this site wasn't updated. I've downloaded the DLC on July the 3rd and the site has been updated yesterday. I made the missions again but the achievements doesn't unlock anymore.

    So, i can't see the achievements on the site but they are unlocked on the console (ONLY in game specific achements list, not in the "game list"). Hope to have explained properly.

    What can i do?

    My connection works properly. I've tried the test. This is a known issue. I found that if you unlock an achievement before the MS achievement DB is updated, you can't unlock the achievement anymore on the console and it will not be shown on this site.

    I don't know what to do. What if i download again my gamertag and then i unlock this achievements again?

    Is there a way to lock the achivements on the console?

    Hello!

    Most of the time this is due to either an achievement that you had met the requirements for, but didn't unlock for some reason. The other is if a game is updated with new achievements that allows you to obtain them if you've previously met the requirements.
    It doesn't sound like there's any security issue, but if you are concerned you could change your password.
