Discus and support I cant un-mute my headset in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; I have tried everything on the xbox support page regarding unmuting a headset.     I cant un-mute my headset


    I have tried everything on the xbox support page regarding unmuting a headset. The icon on the home screen still displays that I have a muted headset. I have also tried starting a party to see if I can unmute my headset but still the same story. There is
    a long feed of people with the same problem - I was just wondering if someone has found a solution to this. My headset is a turtle beach headset. I used it successfully a few hours ago and now this has happened. Any ideas?

    Hey Dallas,

    Thanks for keeping us updated. In order to check your nat type, you would just
    access your network settings     on your console. Afterwards, choose "Test NAT type". Keep in mind that a strict or moderate NAT type will hinder your abilities to chat and join multiplayer games.

    Yes thats the article I have been reading. My X box is only 2 months old, so hopefully i dont have to send it in to get fixed. How to you check your NAT type?

    Paul from the Xbox Forums Team here to assist, it sounds like you're experiencing an issue with your headset. The article you read to help with the issue would it happen to be this

    one    ? As well can you please check your network statistics and let us know what your NAT type is. Sometimes if the NAT type is strict it can restrict chatting with the headset. Please let us know.
