    I can't turn on my xbox one


    Yesterday, I was playing when my xbox suddenly shuted down and the fan started working at full speed. I imagined that the xbox needed too cool off (wich is wierd, because i weren't playing for that long). After a while, i desconnected the power source. At
    the very next day, when I re connected the power supply, the fan started working again, and the xbox could not be turned on. After a quick search, i tried disconnecting every wire, waiting for 20 seconds, and reconecting everything. Didn't work. I figured
    out, that if i disconnected the kinect from the console, the fan didn't start woriking with the xbox turned off. Also, without the kinect, the xbox front light turned on for a second when i push it, but then goes off.

    I tied pressing down the button for a while and nothing happened.

    I don't know what else can i try. I apriciate your answers, thank yo very much.

    Hi there,

    before submiting a repair it's best to try a few steps first, it will at least determine what is causing this issue.

    Please check the steps on this link it should result in either all being working again or in you knowing what is causing the issue and when needed what needs to be repaired/replaced:

    I had the same thing happen to me yesterday. My xbox one shut itself down while playing a game and would not power back on. The light on the power brick switched from the usual white to orange. After contacting customer support, I was informed that I will
    need to send my xbox one back to microsoft for repair. Very disappointing for a few reasons:

    1) A bit of searching online reveals that this is a problem that is fairly common meaning it is most likely down to a design flaw or manufacturing fault.

    2) I have the Day One edition of the console so it is out of warranty and I will have to pay an exchange surcharge of £100 after only 2 years of use.

    Seriously considering just switching to playstation at this point.

    Xbox one not connecting to live

    Am I the only one that can't connect to the Internet right now? Everything else in my house is connected but my Xbox one keeps telling me it can't connect to my wireless network. It started with destiny. I turned off my Xbox one thinking it was nothing that

    The Instant-on mode on the Xbox one S console will only function if your console is in
    Standby or Sleep mode only. If you manually turned it off using the Power button, the console is completely shut down and you need to press the Power button on the console again or the Xbox One controller. To better assist you with your concern,
    please provide us the following information:

    • When did the issue start to happen?
    • Are your PC and Xbox One console software updated to the latest version?
    • Have you tried to use the same method using a different PC or Windows 10 device before?

    In the meantime, we suggest that you run the Windows Apps troubleshooter by clicking the Run troubleshooter button on this

    Xbox turns on or off when turning tv on

    My xbox turns on or off when I turn the tv on, it sends a signal to it. I don't know how to turn it off, I remember the original xbox one had an option to set up the tv like this but i can't seem to find the settings on my xbox one x, i looked
    through my tv and can't find anything on there either. I have Samsung tv, please if anyone has answer I'd appreciate it.

    I can't figure out how to have my Harmony One NOT turn on the Xbox One. I think it's pretty cool to say "Xbox On", but if you add the One to any activity for the Harmony, it's going to turn it on itself. Anybody else trying to do that and figure it out?
