    I can't turn on my Xbox one from holding down the Xbox button I have to go power it on manually


    I was talking in a party on Xbox one and my controller died I have the energizer charger. So I got my 2nd controller and tried to plug the mic in from there but it didn't work I could hear them talk through my tv but not through the mic then I turned off
    my Xbox and the Xbox button on the controller didn't turn off and I can't turn it on by holding the Xbox button and when I get to the home screen I can't move or do anything

    xbox power button no longer works

    i dont seem to be able to turn on and off my xbox via the power button, however, i can still turn it on by opening the disk drive, or holding down the xbox button on the controller, and then to turn off i have to eaither go into xbox settings and choose
    power off console, or click the xbox button on the controller, go to the settings tab, and click power off, but i was wondering if there is a way to fix the power button?

    i have the xbox 360 slim and got it in eaither 2011 or 2012

    Xbox One Controllers Looses Connection

    I bought this Xbox One with controller from Best Buy on 7/3/17. The controller at times looses connection for unknown reasons. There are no other wireless devices in the area besides Wifi. If I reset the Xbox One by holding the power button down (I often
    have to turn the controller Off because it doesn't sense that the Xbox is resetting) it will sometimes correct the problem. Sometimes it doesn't and after several reset attempts (yes batteries are good per voltmeter) it still disconnects during games. I
    have tried turning the power bar off for several minutes as well. I have to go through SEVERAL attempts at resetting to get the unit to stay connected. I'm about ready to throw it out the window. It seems to work better when I manually turn the Xbox off
    manually and holding the power button down for at least 10 seconds after a gaming session. Then again, sometimes it just doesn't work. Suggestions?

    Game wont start

    (REBOOT) Trun of your xbox manually. Hold down power button for 10 seconds then turn xbox back on by using your controller. "Works for me!"

    AARGH! TV doesn't work any more :(

    Xbox would not turn on my TV, A/V receiver, and Directv this morning. It appears the patch did not fix this issue.

    I had to hold down the power button on the Xbox and make it reboot, and while it was rebooting I manually powered on all of my devices.

    I'm just waiting for the day when my wife or daughter can't figure out how to watch TV. They'll make me move the Xbox to the bedroom. :(

    You can try this instead to see if you can reset the video settings manually.

    First, totally power down your Xbox One by holding the power button on the console for 5-10 seconds. Don’t just tap it; hold the button down.

    Next, turn it back on by holding both the disc eject and power buttons for a good 10-20 seconds. This bit is key: don’t release the buttons when you see the Xbox One light come on; instead, continue holding the buttons until you hear a second chime. Also, just keep an eye on your TV screen/monitor — hold those buttons down until you see the green Xbox One start screen.

    Controller problem?

    Did not work :( , and its weird it happened all of a sudden. When I start playing I turn on controller but console does not turn on so I manually press power button on console and when I am done and hold down power button on controller and click shut down
    console the controller stays on and i have to hold power button for on 5 seconds on controller to shut down controller. Not a major issue more of an annoyance that I wish it just worked.
