    Why is my monitor not letting me select 1440p and 120hz at the same time?

    What kind of tv do you have? Ive seen some work but i think if your monitor cant get set directly to 120hz through the settings then it may not work

    144hz monitor doesn't work with 120hz

    Unfortunately my monitor doesnt have an option to turn it down to 120hz. Im fully aware that the xbox one cannot go over 120, but i only want to achieve 120 and at this stage i cant even do that.

    My Xbox 360 turns off directly after i turn it on.

    If your powerblock is green when on, and amber when turned off, then that's not the issue. If your console isn't outputting anything to your TV it could have just burned out. I'd contact support and send it in for repair if they can't help you figure it
    out.

    You should probably unplug everything and replug it all. If that doesn't work you might just have to get a new power cable.

    Does your monitor have built-in speakers and are you connecting the console directly to the monitor with an HDMI cable?

    Press and hold the console's power button until the console turns off, remove the power cord and HDMI cable for 1 minute, turn on the console, and see if this resolves the issue.
