I can't transfer data from Xbox to Xbox anymore

Are you trying to do a network game transfer? If so, try the following steps:

1. On the Xbox you want to copy from, go to Settings > Network > Network transfer and check the box to allow network transfer. This makes that Xbox visible to other consoles on the same network.
2. Once you’ve allowed transferring from the “host” Xbox, turn on the console onto which you’ll be copying games and apps, and go to the same settings page. Your host Xbox should be listed.
3. Select the Xbox you want to copy from, choose the items to copy, then select Copy selected.

Is one or both of your consoles enrolled in the Insider Preview Program? Or are both consoles on the stock official system version?

I think I have a glitch. I have a Xbox1x and a Xbox1. I have tried the steps and no go

Let's try fixing it! One of the best fixes for OS issues is a factory reset. You won't lose any of games as long as you follow the steps below. Once it's completed, try the transfer steps again.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info > Reset console.
3. On the Reset your console? screen, select: Reset and keep my games & apps.
