I cant talk through my headset

I see you've said that the headset works on other consoles but now yours. Are you able to try connecting one of those controllers to your console and test the headset on that one? This may be an issue with the controller itself.

Otherwise you could try deleting your gamertag then redownload it to see if that helps

That setting isnt there because my headset is wireless and has adjustable audio options on the headset itself

Try with any other account profile if you have on your Xbox console.

If it doesn't work or you don't have an extra one, then you should delete your Gamertag and re-install it.

I am not to endorse any certain product or franchise. Although may I ask you if this problem is specifically related to fortnite or all games? The reason I ask, is because fortnite has its own audio settings for mic chat. If you go to the settings and right
bumper click over to the communications tab, go down to options for voice chat, here you will find the settings you need. Be advised, when you are in an Xbox live party and everyone leaves, meaning you're the only one left, you will not be able to speak to
anyone until you leave the party. Also the specific settings in fortnite for mic chat can be set to in game or party. When you are queued up in a party it will automatically set, you will have to switch it back to in game afterwards.
