    I cant talk in an xbox party chat!


    Resently i got unbanned from communication but right after i was supposed to get unbanned, i joined a party and at the top it said "Your privacy settings prevent chat with some people" i checked my settings but everything looked good. I really dont know
    what to do... Anyone know a step by step tutorial on how to fix my issue? (please Help)

    Do I need a skype account to talk on party chat?

    On the XBOX-One I can get into party chats, but I cant hear anyone talking, or I cant talk. Do I need to get a skype account to be able to hear and talk to my friends in the party chat?

    my party chat is messed up or something. Ever since I got my Xbox one a couple months ago I cant use party chat, the party can hear me but I cant hear them...a lil red circle pops up around there name sometimes in party. Everything works fine in
    game chat .... plz help I hate playing and not being able to talk in party..

    Hi ReDNiRaH,

    first of all check at
    https://enforcement.xbox.com     and sign in with your gamertag if there is no further
    suspensions!!

    But I think you have to refresh you Cache so you may should power cycle your console like this:

    1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 30 seconds.

      Important Be sure to wait 30 seconds. This step resets the power supply. And it is always a good idea to reset also modem/router by OFF/ON switching!!
    3. Plug the console power cable back in.
    4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

    If this will not fix your issue
    REMOVE AND RE-ADD     your account.

    Seems like pressing the xbox button was the trick cause i know ive unplugged it before. Thanks for the help.
