I can’t stream my games with Xbox app

well, this is a joke tbh, I’m a twitch streamer, and podcaster, I have my new X, and quite simply, I’m getting these errors every time for the last two days.

Pissed isn’t the word, I want to play games for my community on the new X, however since Microsoft screwed the twitch App to hell, it’s bassically made the Xbox the worst place to stream games.

Does anybody actually have a fix for this, because I’m going to back PS4 to stream on twitch.......

One tiny other point, why Microsoft just can’t allow both Twitch and Mixer to exist and let us make the choice...it’s wrong and I’m telling you now, you are making not want to stream to my community from the Xbox, because right I simply can’t.

Streaming apps can disable streaming due to licensing restrictions (otherwise you could buy a movie, and let millions of people see the movie for free, whereas in game streaming, people watch your work as you play, not the copyrighted work of a film maker
which you can't make your own).

If you circumvent that and stream copyrighted movies, you are breaking copyright laws in most countries, and you might face legal charges, if the movie studio finds out you streamed their movie.

If it's a non-copyrighted movie, or a movie you made yourself and hold the rights to, you can still try to stream the movie by using capture hardware and your PC.

Simply connect your console to your PC's capture hardware, and stream through that.

Directly with the console itself it's not possible.

As said it's to do with copyright law , that's how you can't stream a app 👍

Certain apps and even games have this function to prevent licensing issues. What ever movie or so on you want to broadcast you nor xbox owns the license to so they dont allow most movies and music apps to be broadcasted from twitch or mixer. This also
goes for games that involve music.
