I can't stop Automatic renewal

hi,

I want to stop my Gold membership, but I can't.

When I try to access the "cancel" option in my account options, it says that I have to wait one month (until late july) before I can do anything (because I update my security information). But I updated my
security information for the good reason that I wanted to cancel my membership. So basically for this month I'm *** and I'll have to pay.

Also, the support links from this page (chat and call) are broken. So I'm counting on this forum now, as it seems my only option to cancel the membership.

Hello, I found someone with the same exact problem as I'm facing right now but the differences between him and I is that I live in Saudi and i'm not sure if we even have a service center.The second thing is that the "windows live" account I am using with
my xbox live account doesn't have mail, And I can't make an outlook account due to the 1 month problem.

Can Microsoft send my Security Info to another email? Or Can I just ban Microsoft from using my Visa?

how to turn off automatic renewal? help immediately please!

My account was suspended because there is a problem with my credit card. I want to turn off automatic renewal so I can stop being billed but I can't find the link to change automatic renewal to off anywhere.

i'm out of options to try AGAIN to cancel my son's membership and my credit card keeps being charged. Please, I want to cancel and your site after an hour of g oing around in circles doesn't offer me a way to do this . PLEASE help!!!!!!!!!!!!

please be aware that the thread you posted in is an old thread. for the best support it's best not to post in old threads but to create a new post for your issue.

Regarding the issue, if you can't turn off renewal yourself, you will need to contact Xbox Support (By Phone or via Microsoft Support Chat) they are the only ones that can assist with an issue like this.

I've tried for days to stop my automatic renewal of Xbox live. The xbox is mine, the credit card is mine. The problem is that to deactivate the automatic renewal, I need a code. This code is not being sent to my main address but another that I can't access.

i've spent half the day trying to find a way to cancel and i'm absolutely furious. it's nothing but theft making it this difficult to stop an automatic renewal. i can't believe it's legal.

Is automatic renewal on?

If it is, then you need to phone Xbox Support and ask them to stop automatic renewal, so that you can start using a prepaid card.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you want to change the renewal of a subscription. Here is a guide to
turn off recurring charge.
Just do the opposite if you want to turn it on.
