Discus and support I can't start up the Xbox App at all in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I have tried every way possible to get the app to work and always end up back to square 1.     I can't start up the Xbox App at all


    I have tried every way possible to get the app to work and always end up back to square 1. I've tried resetting app, tried deleting app, tried Powershell, Tried resetting the PC I have run about of options

    Beforehand, it is important that you keep in mind that this is a public community forum, so we are players like you, we are not employees of Microsoft or Xbox, so we do not have access to any user account or check anything from the forum. All users help each other with common problems.

    I am very sorry for the problem you are going through, with the intention of being able to help you I did an internal search on the Microsoft forum and found a publication by Gerardo C., an independent advisor, where he mentions a series of steps to try to solve the problem:

    Please use the SFC command, which helps examine the integrity of all protected system files and repair problem files if possible.

    You can do it by following the steps that I will attach below:

    1. Type "Command Prompt" in the Windows search bar.

    2. Right click on the search result and select Run as administrator.

    3. Copy and paste the following command and press Enter:

    sfc /scannow

    4. Wait for the scan to finish and display the results.

    5. If integrity violations were found and fixed, restart your PC and check if the issue is resolved. In case the system file checker has not been able to repair possible system file corruption then use the following commands (don't forget to press Enter after each one):

    - DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

    - DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

    - DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
