I can't sign into Xbox Live

I've been trying for about half an hour to find out why I can't sign in. I'm a Gold member and this has never happened before.

When I try to sign in (both on the dashboard and when starting up a game) I get this message;

"We could not sign you in. Try again in a few minutes or check your account by signing into account.live.com. Sign in: 0x80048883"

After seeing it I logged into my live account on my PC but... what next? How do I fix this?

I am very frustrated because I can't sign in and I have 3 months prepaid!

Umm call 1800-4-my xbox (1-800-469-9269) They should try their best to help you.

 

This is a current issue effecting the Xbox One... it may have presented itself on the 360 while Microsoft was fixing the problem. Give it some time and it'll be sorted out.

 

Same problem here...have you been able to sign in yet?

 

This just happened to me. I just got Titanfall for Christ's sake and I can't play it. Has it been fixed on yours yet?

 

Only been trying 2 sign in for 3 hours and still no joy

It says on here will keep us updated . But still nothing

I have the same problem ... All my mates are on line playing ... Waiting long for this problem ... Xbox needs to wake up and fix it ASAP message says we are doing our best pls give me 30 minutes to sort it out .. Then after 30 minutes it says the same ...
Shame on xbox when they have brought the one to show u difference of gaming .. Think it's a waste of time when 360 has no problem at all wasted my money on this console really should have brought playstation 4 ... Microsoft is a waste of time ... That's what

Been trying to sign on since noon it is now 1720 and I am still getting the same message. This is obserd and ridiculous they can't even announce a damn time when things will be working again. They really need to fix this problem ESPECIALLY if for the majority
of the games have to have an internet connection and a live account to be played. This is a complete waste of our money and we should definitely be compensated for this. We can't play any game with this issue.

 

8015190A same issue here. I was online and watching YT and it disconnected and started this crap. I can sign in fine with another account on the same 360.

 

I have the same I got Titian Fall but I cant play it since yesturday because my xbox is still down how do u fix thie

 

I need help with my xbox, i dont know why but anytime i try to sign on it practically freezes or idk what it does. it just sits on the loading screen forever, but my account works perfectly fine on other peoples xbox. can someone help me out!

 

This is ridiculous. It seems that this is a common problem and now it is happening again. "Could not sign in, check back later" bla bla bla. We pay for this??
