I can’t sign into xbox live even though I have subscrition. Under Network settings it is say8ng issue with purchase and content usage. Not sure how to fix this

When I try to buy Modern Warfare 2 for Xbox One Backwards Compatibility, I receive the following error message: "Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again."

I just checked under settings > network > network settings and it says purchases and content usage are currently experiencing issues.

You can always go to Xbox.com/status to see whats working and what’s not.

Maybe this is the issue?

 

Purchase and Content Usage Issue

I need help. My network on my Xbox One is saying that my purchase and content usage is "experiencing issues." However, when I go to the Xbox live status on the website, it said it has been down since June 22. This is a big issue for me since I put $40.00
USD into my account for a DLC.

If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know.

Are you havin an issue where you cant play any digital games too?

Both of you can try to remove your account from your console and re add it again. Usually this fixes any issues with the accounts

 

According to the server status page, the issue with purchase and content has been going on since 8/22. Just says engineers are aware of it and working on it. No updates about it since 8/22. Almost appears like no one is having luck purchasing or downloading
at the moment. Just hope they fix the problem soon.

 

This thing sucks even i cant play cause the game stucks in sync data and stops and say "cant sync data" (this affects online play cause i cant play neverwinter) i checked this error on xbox.com/support and they say the xbox live is limited cause a system
alert my xbox dashboard dont display anything store says "cant retrieve data from store" the mixer page and the game pass page says the same thing and the weird thing is when i go to the network settings and check the service status it says " there is a problem
with_______" it says nothing!

 

Is this for real? My son can't play online games because of this and I can't login with my adminstrator account. Please advise how to solve this.

I've managed to logon with my account and delete my son's account, but the problem is still there. I will give you some more information: when we try to start fortnite, xbox wants to sell me Xbox Live Gold. But I already have have a valid subscription until
03-19-2019. So I choose "No Thanks" and next Fortnite tells me "Xbox Live Gold is required to play Fortnite".

It's been like this since last Wednesday! I have the feeling that this problem isn't getting the attention it needs. Please provide us with a solution, or at least give some more information about the status of this problem at Microsoft.

Did you delete and readd your account as advised? You can also try the following:

Remove your account. Then, while the account is deleted and before you add it back, reset your console by holding the power button on the console for a full 10 seconds until its completely off. Unplug it for 1 minute then turn it back on and re-add your
account.

 

Chris, I’ve now fixed the issue. Spoke to xbox support and they managed to fix it straight away! Apparently quite a fee people with same issue

I have just fixed mine by holding the power button down and resetting the console, it then worked when powered back up.
