I can't sign into Xbox Game Bar on my Windows 10 PC

Hi, I keep getting an error code whenever I try signing onto my Xbox Game Bar, or any Xbox related apps on my Windows 10 PC, running the latest version of Windows (21H1).

The error code is 0x80072EFD.

Can someone please help as this is painful!

The Xbox Game Bar on my Windows 10 PC, as well as the Xbox app on my iPhone. Sorry for the confusion!

Can I be signed into the same game on Xbox One and my Windows 10 PC?

At any single point in time, you may only sign into the game on one Xbox One console or one Windows 10 PC. You cannot be signed into the same game on both an Xbox One console and a Windows 10 PC at the same time.

It doesn't seem to be a problem with Game Bar. I checked if this happens on my PC's with Windows 10 and Windows 11 and the same happens.

You can change your online Status on PC via the Game Bar. Press and hold the Windows Key and
tap G on the keyboard.

Or with an Xbox controller attached to the PC, access the Game Bar by pressing the
Xbox button.

Depending on how the Game Bar is set up on the PC a number of Windows will be displayed. Showing as Online or Offline is available in the Xbox Social window. To configure the game bar to your liking, press the Overlay Menu, next
to the time. This will allow you to change what Windows of the Game Bar are displayed.
