I can't sign into my xBox account

Discus and support I can't sign into my xBox account in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I've looked over the forums and it appears I know what is not allowing me to sign in.     I can't sign into my xBox account


    I've looked over the forums and it appears I know what is not allowing me to sign in. Yesterday I changed my gamer tag, but I have no clue how to fix the problem. When I go to sign in it goes into the normal sign in area but then closes out of it immediately.

    I can't sign into my Xbox Account. I can't do anything except attempt to sign in or try to go to settings or restart. When I go to settings My xbox shuts off after about a minute. When I try to restart everything freezes on a black screen. The only thing
    i can do and have tried is a hard restart. I hold down the button until it turns off and then remove the power cable. Nothing is working and I have tried to contact support however since I am part of the Xbox Preview program they can't help me. Any help would
    be greatly appreciated.

    I can't sign into my account.

    In this situation, I would advise that you take a look over the
    compromised Account troubleshooter     just in case. Seeing that you're seeing an unknown Xbox in your my devices for your account. You should definitely change your accounts password after removing access to all devices currently associated with your Microsoft
    account.

    Glad to hear it. For future reference, every time you make a change to your gamertag (email, password, etc) you need to redownload it via the BC menu
