I can’t sign into my Twitch on Xbox after enabling 2Fa.

I’m trying to log into my twitch account on Xbox after enabling 2FA but, I’m not unable to sign back up in my account. Every time I try it shows a screen saying ‘Join the Twitch community! Scan the QR code on the right with your mobile device…’ i scanned the code and I did everything else afterwards and eventually it said my Xbox and my Twitch were now connected but, when I go onto Twitch I just get the same ‘Join the Twitch community!’ Screen.

Please help me, I’ve nearly gotten to affiliate and I don’t want to lose my account.

Just to make sure we are on the same page, you have enabled the 2-factor authentication on your Xbox Live profile (Microsoft Account) or on your Twitch account? If you have enabled it on the Microsoft Account, you can easily disable it on this page: https://account.microsoft.com/security

This will allow you to sign in to your Twitch account, and should also allow your accounts to connect to one another. After that, try to enable 2FA again on your Microsoft Account.

But on the other hand, if you are having problems on your Twitch account with 2FA, then I recommend you to contact the Twitch Support directly for help with managing your account's security settings.

I’ve already tried to do that but I’m stuck in some kind of loop. When I get sent the SMS codes, it claims I’ve now linked my twitch and Xbox account but when I go onto twitch it just tells me to do the same thing again.

I’ve tried restarting my router and my Xbox but nothing sadly.

Oh, maybe you might need to restart your Xbox, and then attempt to do the process again?
