I can't sign into my online profile?

I can't sign into my online profile? It tells me a problem with signing in try later. What would make that happen? Just to let you know as I wright this its just started working and like to know if it happens again.

In this situation, I would advise that you take a look over the
compromised Account troubleshooter just in case. Seeing that you're seeing an unknown Xbox in your my devices for your account. You should definitely change your accounts password after removing access to all devices currently associated with your Microsoft
account.

I'm sorry about the sign in issues. There is currently a
Service Alertout right now for our Xbox Live Core services.
The error code 0x8a4001a is usually what most will see. Another error message is
"There was a problem please try again later."

There are many posting to remove and redownload your profile, as this has helped a few you can try this step.
Although, being the service alert is for signing in there are some who are
unable to re-download profile after removing it. We suggest just waiting it out keep checking the service status. Also, there is way to get notified once there's an update with the Service alert.

Hey if you are receiving an error code beginning with 0x8------- or 8------- try these steps To create an app password go to live.com and sign in, click on your name on the upper right hand corner a drop down will pop click on account settings then find
the link that says more account security and click on it. Now you must enable two step verification on that page before you can create the app password to use as your regular password to bypass that error.

Same problem. Telling me to try again later. I cannot even check settings since there is no guide either.

I did notice when I was playing GTA V I was randomly being kicked for not being logged in, even though when i checked the guide it showed that I was still logged in.

 

This happened to me and the way i fixed it was deleting my profile and redownloading it and that worked for me but it may not work for you if thats the case try changing your password and then try signing in if that doesn't work try clearing your cache aka
deleting all history so it sort of gives it a refresh

 

Yeah I couldn't sign in either. I've changed my password about 5 times now. Called them up and they were no help. I'll try the above tips tomorrow to see if it helps.

 

Also try going to Settings, System, Network, select your network, choose Configure Network, go right to Additional Settings, then Restore to factory defaults. Reboot the console, and run Test Xbox Live Connection and see if you're able to sign in.

 

Well, I tried all of the above. Now my Live profile is gone and I can't get online at all. For some reason it's not taking my Wep Key either. Serenity now...
