    Can't Sign In To Xbox One

    Hi,

    I've come to use my Xbox One this evening and after turning on the console, my account wasn't logged in. After choosing "Sign In", my account continuously came up with the error "There was A Problem: We could not sign you in. Try again in a few minutes,
    or check your account by signing in to account.live.com. Sign In: 0x87DD0006"

    I tired disconnecting & reconnecting, restarting multiple times but nothing worked.

    I then found a YouTube video demonstrating the "Fix", where by going into settings and restarting the console completely will sort this.

    I've done this now and the account still isn't signing in. There was even an error during this, so I presume I've lost everything now as well.

    I've tried signing in on PC and everything appears to be fine with the account as far as I can tell.

    Anyone any idea why this might be?

    I don't really want to have to create a whole new account and start from scratch ideally but it doesn't look like I've much choice.

    I've not tried signing onto the console with any other accounts as I don't have another.

    Is this my only option? Will this even work?

    Hey Geoffrey11! Are you receiving an error message or code when trying to sign in? You may want to try a

    power cycle     to see if it helps resolve the issue. Post back and let us know!

    I can't sign in to Xbox live on 360.

    I can sign in on my Xbox One, but if I choose 360 games on my Xbox one it says the same. But Xbox One games works fine?

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    Kindly perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

    1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

    3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    Hi AmandaRothschild, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    Kindly sign in to https://account.xbox.com/profile and check if you can sign in from there without any issues. If you can sign in from there please follow the steps below:

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    ​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps.

    Sorry to hear the troubles with signing into Xbox Live. To check, are you still having issues with signing into Xbox Live or has the issue cleared up for you?

    If you're still not able to sign in, let's make sure to give your Xbox One a full power cycle by holding down the power button for 8-10 seconds until it shuts off completely.
