    I cant sign in to Microsoft edge or my XBOX app for PC, since recent Jan 2021 update


    Yesterday I was playing my games on XBOX app - PC . I have a current XBOX game pass ultimate subscription. Today since accepting the new windows 10 update I can not log in at all when I click sign in nothing pops up at all. I can not play my games until
    I sign in and well I can't which is annoying. I'm also experiencing another problem post update today where I'm unable too sign in to my profile on Microsoft EDGE. When I click to sign in this error pops up..

    Everything was working fine yesterday. I have done nothing except accepting the recent Windows 10 update and now this is happened.

    PS. I can sign into my Microsoft and Xbox account through the webpage ok

    I am having the exact same problem with Microsoft Sudoku. I signed in successfully on Jan 6, and haven't been able to sign-in since. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the app, can sign-in successfully using Edge and Chrome, can successfully login
    to the XBox app, have no issues playing a game of Solitare and having my account reflect it was played via Edge. My Windows 10 indicates everything is current. I am using a Surface 4 Pro.

    They've been back since late 2020 or early 2021. The Xbox app on PC was just never updated to work with that feature.

    - Select the user name, and click on Sign out.

    Check if your PC has all the updates installed including this one:

    After updating your PC install the Xbox app and log in with the same Microsoft Store account.
