    Can't send text messages.

    For the past few weeks I've been unable to send text message through any Xbox service. My Xbox, the apps, the website, I can't send a text message on any of them. I can get into party chats with my friends just fine and I have a perfect record without any
    bans against me. I don't understand why this is happening. Has anybody ever experienced this problem before and if so what did you have to do to fix it?

    Can't send text messages.

    I figured it out. You have go to Microsoft security settings and set up identity verification and two step verification.

    can you join a party on xbox.com

    You are able to send a text messages on Xbox.com by going to social and then messages. You can't send a voice message on xbox.com.

    You can't party chat between consoles, but you can still send text messages! ;)
