i cant send messages

everytime i try to send a message to afriend i cant haven't been ban nor have i did anything wrong please help

Hey, Vapid by any chance do you have a communications ban on your account? Have you tried calling Microsoft Support. Also, what about hard resetting your Xbox?

Could you post back the specific error that you are receiving? In the meantime, please verify that your security proofs are up to date on your
Microsoft Account: Security Settings. You may need to add a phone number in addition to an email address as a troubleshooting step to resolve the error.

Post back and let us know how it goes, and if the issue persists, please be sure to include the error code and message in your post.

https://account.live.com/proofs/Manage
look under "Security info helps keep your account secure" and make sure they have a phone and email listed.

If any are missing please add them. If Any ARE listed delete and re-add them. And Save Changes.

Then Restart Console Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide. Select Settings. > Select Restart console. > Select
Yes to confirm.

Once the Console Has restarted you should be able to send messages.
