I can't send messages using my 360.

yup i just started having this same issues today came to support nothing about it. checked threads found this,unfortunately still no solution found xbox is goofing.but on my xbox one i can send messages just fine.....weird huh?

I find i get this all the time some bad sport sends me a message on 360 playing World of Tanks i read it reply and it fails, so i just spam send until it sends cause how can they send a message to me and not expect a reply it's really annoying too cause
it seems like it just doesn't want to send fails like 20 times then eventually sends i been experiencing this ever since Xbox one came out. Seems like they have taken some servers away from Xbox 360 to help the Xbox One operate without the care factor that
the 360 is falling apart with party dropouts and inability to send a message when you hit send.

Right now Sony fans are laughing with there No1 selling console Xbox need to pick up there game and not forget about us constant Xbox Gamers. Fix the Issues.

hey noodle, some people have there privacy settings up high, or you have bean doing some stuff that you are not so post to do, so your reputation may not be good so you cant play other players (or message them) go here: enforcement.xbox.com and see if you're
account has a low reputation. If it does then you need to be a nice person with no commits against you and you may be able to talk to other people

i can play with people just cant msg I have a 96 ish perventy hate me on xbox but this website says 0%. This is confusing I understand the 96% I play dark souls and cheese a lot nothing bad though or against rules this got my rep where it is. and I checked
my setings nothing wrong I recommend to all that is affected by this to delete there account and re download it it may work and reset the modem internet connection is a common issue currently.

You can actually send messages via chat, but you can't talk with your voice. (I've sent messages to my friends using my Xbox One to their 360 consoles.)

The Enforcement teams don't use the forums at all and they only communicate through a
Case Review. Some enforcement actions including, but not limited to 24 Hour communications suspensions and Console Suspensions are not reviewable. You can find more information
in these cases through the communication sent by the teams to the email address associated with your Xbox Live Gamertag. Remember that all suspensions are only enforced when a breach of the
Code of Conduct or
Microsoft Services Agreement has happened.

Have you seen any more information in regards to this suspension in your email inbox associated with your Microsoft Account? Please be sure to check your spam folders as sometimes the communication can be sent there inadvertently. It's possible the suspension
on your account is not listed on the enforcement website, but was communicated to you via email instead. Our chat/phone team can also take a look at any enforcement actions on your account. They won't be able to give any details, but they can tell you an end
date.

Hey there BrkenBurritos.

So that we can best help you out, please clarify what happens when you to send a message and which Xbox console you are trying to send Xbox Live messages from.

OK Fowl

Go to
https://account.live.com/proofs/Manage
look under "Security info helps keep your account secure" and make sure they have a phone and email listed.

If any are missing please add them. If Any ARE listed delete and re-add them. And Save Changes.

Then Restart Console Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide. Select Settings. > Select Restart console. > Select
Yes to confirm.

Once the Console Has restarted you should be able to send messages.
