I can't send messages on the xbox app

Hello so I am having trouble sending messages to my friends on the xbox app, I tried what you said and it didn't work and so I would like to see if you have any othe way to fix it. I am using a phone (hope that information helped a bit). Thank you for taking

Check the app store for updates on the app.

If it doesn't need to update, go to home settings and change the name of your Xbox.

Then reconnect the app after you change the name. This helps me reconnect if thats an issue.

Uninstalling the app and reinstalling on your devices can fix some issues as well.

I just can't send a message on my Xbox app, though. I tried it without emojis, not working. Tried to sign out and in, still not working. Clearly, I think that's still a bug. I also can't see other's messages from my activity feed, especially when viewing
some Captures. Is there anything you guys can help me?

Sorry to hear about your issue. However, we need some more info on your situation. Is it pulling up an error code? If so you can get into contact with Xbox Support and give them the
code. They will be able to help you resolve the situation. That being said there could be a number of other issues. Maybe you need to sign out and sign in again to refresh everything. Possibly remove and reinstall the app, something could have gone wrong in
the syncing process. Again, best to contact
Xbox Support directly!

hey there what type of phone are you using? Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling it?

 

Hey, please make sure you're not using the BETA app as it's unstable. If you aren't I will suggest contacting Xbox support directly.

 

Make sure your app is up to date and that you have a proper connection to the Xbox servers. Phone reset always helps. Good luck!
