i cant send messages on the xbox app or through the website but i can on the console

Hi, Concerned! It's my pleasure to assist you with this today.

Please know that if you get the Error: 'Message Can Not Be Sent". You'll be unable to send messages for a 24-hour period.

You get this message when you exceed your daily limit of messages. Exactly how many messages this is depends on the following factors:

How many messages you try to send to strangers per day

How many messages you try to send to friends per day

How many unique recipients you try to send to per day

This limit is in place to prevent unwanted messaging to multiple recipients.

However, if that is not the error, please proceed to do these steps.

- Press the Windows key and try CMD and run as Administrator. Enter this command and press enter.

netsh winhttp reset proxy

Make sure that Direct access says "No proxy server".

- Ensure that you are on the most recent version of the Xbox app and Game Bar App

Microsoft Store app > Downloads > Get updates/Update all

- Ensure that you have updated your PC to the most recent version of Windows, including optional updates

PC Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates > Install

-Then check your PC's date and time settings.

Your PC will need to have an accurate date and time value to be able to establish a connection.

On your PC, press the Start button, then select Settings.

Select Time & Language > Date & time.

Under Set time automatically, make sure the button is set to On.

- Press the Windows Key + S and type Microsoft Store and then click on App Settings.

Repair and Reset the App.

Then do the same with the Xbox App and Game Bar App

- Restart the device to apply the changes and sign back in using the same email on the Xbox app And Microsoft Store App.

- Go to Start menu > Settings > Network and Internet > Advanced network settings > Network reset.

Then check if that will fix the issue. Thank you!

I forgot to add to the OP and can't edit it, but I can send messages through the website, but just can't send through the console. Anyone can assist me?
