I can't send messages on my new account and my new xbox S I've tried everything in the support ...

well i hear ya', i've tried everything my details are obviously right because I wouldn't be writing this message, if I can't use my gold account which as like other people is pretty new then sadly yes I may be considering getting a ps4 which is a shame i've
always supported xbox from the start

Go to
https://account.live.com/proofs/Manage
look under "Security info helps keep your account secure" and make sure they have a phone and email listed.

If any are missing please add them. If Any ARE listed delete and re-add them. And Save Changes.

Then Restart Console Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide. Select Settings. > Select Restart console. > Select
Yes to confirm.

Once the Console Has restarted you should be able to send messages.

to a phone number to prove you're a real human; it seems that you've gone through that a few times.

The situation you're describing sounds more like a console issue rather than an account issue. That Skype reputation link is really for users that cannot access their messages on all platforms, which is clearly not the case for you. What I would need to
know is the exact error you receive when you attempt to send a message. This can be in either a text reply here or an image of your screen when you get the error. From there, we'll be able to focus on any troubleshooting steps that might not have been done
yet, and get it sorted out together.
