    I can't see one friend online even though he is online


    My friend accidentally blocked me. When he unblocked me, I couldn't see his friends, compare his games with mine and I didn't get a notification when he was online. BTW my other account said he was online and he is my on my favorites for both accounts. I
    have tried many things but nothing works.

    hey my friend is online on his xbox and is set his xbox so it is online and he can see me as his friend and i am online but i cannot see him as online and he is online and he is my friend also i can only see one of my friends online it doesn't make any sense

    Can't see handfull of friends always appear offline when their online.

    I've been having this issue for about a year or so now. I've tried to get Xbox Support to help with no success. Basically I can't see a hand handful of my friends when they are online. Not on my Xbox OR on my account in the "Friends" section, not even using
    the Xbox app on my phone. My account is set to online and non of my friends are set to "Appear Offline." I can't invite anyone to an active game (because I can't see them online, nor will my Xbox let me even though they are online), but friends can invite
    me (friends can see that I am online and what I'm doing).

    I don't think this an issue with they way my Xbox is set up because I can't see friends are online both on Xbox or on xbox.com in the "Friends" section. I think is has something to do with my account. I have tried it all hard reseting my Xbox, my router,
    I was even on the phone with my friend while he was playing madden. Showed him offline. He could see me that I was running a strike in destiny. Any help to solve this issue would be outstanding. Cause it's frustrating I can't game with a handful of my best
    friends because of it.

    Hey mate,

    Have you tried getting him to send you a message? That can sometimes clear the block I can't see one friend online even though he is online :)

    It just sounds like your still blocked, but there should be ways to fix it, so I wouldn't worry too much I can't see one friend online even though he is online :)

    Have you tried getting him to send you a message? That can sometimes clear the block :)

    It just sounds like your still blocked, but there should be ways to fix it, so I wouldn't worry too much :)

    The NAT type definitely affects the online gaming experience. You both need to have an open NAT type. Here are the ports that need to be opened from the internet service provider's side in order to have an open NAT type: Port 88 (UDP) Port 3074 (UDP and TCP) Port 53 (UDP and TCP) Port 80 (TCP) Port 500 (UDP) Port 3544 (UDP) Port 4500 (UDP).

    it has happened to me before that my status changes without me noticing, there are 3 states: appear online, appear offline and Don't disturb, ask your friend to check her status as Chris suggests

    We recommend asking your friend to check her online status to make sure she is not set to "appear offline." Simply press the Xbox button on the controller and then scroll all the way to the left. She would then select her profile (While already being logged
    in) and then select "My Profile".

    Aside from that, she can also try redownloading her profile to the Xbox One.
