I can´t see my son´s gamertag on privacy settings page

Discus and support I can´t see my son´s gamertag on privacy settings page in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have just recently added my sons account to the Microsoft family and I can´t see his gamertag on the settings page where I can modify the privacy...     I can´t see my son´s gamertag on privacy settings page


    I have just recently added my sons account to the Microsoft family and I can´t see his gamertag on the settings page where I can modify the privacy settings. There were 5 days until I found this page already, so why is the Microsoft support so unsopportive
    and not structurized? It´s a real pain to find some help, because the support page doesn´t offer the solutions to my problems and the XBox support Chat was really incompetent in solving my
    issue. The only thing they said was that it was an internal error they don´t know how to fix. GJ

    Child's gamer tag

    I do not see my child's Gamertag on the XBOX Settings page, even though he is properly listed and active as a child on my Microsoft Family page. It lists no children on my XBOX account, just my own Gamertag. I am trying to change the privacy settings.

    ​I have a family account with microsoft ( all outlook ), but i don`t see them in xbox live.

    First when i login with mine account in the family page i can see mine 2 childeren and my wife, i already added them.

    Then when i log into xbox account and go to xbox preferences, --> privacy settings i only see mine gamertag.

    When i log into 1 of my childeren accounts, i see the family page on microsoft, but when i go to xbox preferences i see the profile of mine child, but when i go to privacy, then i got a page with 2 error codes.

    and the browser page is called "www.xbox.xom/nl-NL/my-account/manage-gamertag-and-profile/add-child-to-family-account-online"

    But i can see them on the family page of microsoft, i can`t solve this problem.

    Hello Futsukayoi Desu,

    It is an Xbox 360 that we are using and I see now that the "better together" version of Minecraft is not available for this console.

    Nevertheless, I figured out how to add my son's Xbox live account to the console. However, using the console I am unable to make changes that address the "friends" issue that I am having.

    Using a PC, I sign into my xbox live account. Go to my "xbox profile". Go to my "privacy settings" which brings me to the "Privacy & online safety" page. From this I see two heading options, one for me and another for my son. I select my son's and then "Xbox
    360 Online Safety    ". It is not clear on this new page what I need to change in order to allow my son to play with friends. Also, in the Switch interface in Minecraft when my son selects either an option under the "Friends" or "Servers" he gets the message
    "You cannot add friends because of how your Microsoft account is set up. This can be changed in your privacy & online safety settings on aka.ms/accountsettings. However, as you see that is where I'm going to make changes and it is not clear what change is

    How to add family members into your family: Sign in here Account Microsoft -> Family -> ADD CHILD OR ADULT

    Note: only adults can add or remove accounts from family.

    You have to clarify on what you mean, you cannot see their accounts/gamertags? be able to login to them? on your friends list?

    Child account appears in Family and Friends but not in Privacy Settings

    Hi,

    If I follow the link (logged in) I see my son's account. Clicking on 'Manage my child's profile info' goes to blank page.

    There isn't a link/option for privacy settings unless I'm not looking in the right place.

    Get your son to sign in on his gamertag on the XBox and check Settings>Account>Privacy and online. If your son is using a passkey get him to enter it and there you will see what type of account your son's is.
