I can't save Xbox 360 games (e.g. Fable 2) on my Xbox One

Thanks for your post. I understand you are experiencing issues saving your Fable 2 progress on your Xbox One. You may want to try a

Factory Reset on your console, this will remove all profiles from your Xbox and correct any software issues that may be causing this behavior.

When performing the factory reset, be sure to select the option to
"Reset and keep my games & apps"

I have the Fable 2 Collectors Edition Disc and play the game fine but I can't access my Xbox 360 special content. I added the code for the Fable 2 Master Chief Armor and sword on Fable 2 launch and was able to use on the Xbox 360 but can't access it on the
Xbox One. The DLC isn't listed in the DLC menu and I can't access the Xbox One Xbox360 Emulator download history to download the content to the Xbox One.

Fable doesn't import anything from previous games. When you play Fable 2 it has it's own ending for the first game. The ending Fable 2 has is that the Hero of Oakvale chose to destroy the Sword of Aeons; he fought Jack of Blades in his Dragon form, and destroyed
Jack's mask.

Also, the reason you can't transfer a save file to your USB is because original Xbox data is only allowed on your 360 Hard drive because the hard drive is required for the emulation software included on it to run the game.

Lastly, I haven't had any problems with Fable 2 on my Xbox but I don't play it with a disc anymore, I bought it in the Game Marketplace in Games on Demand.

The error message was for a previous problem.

Let me simplify.

Some games sync and download my cloud saves fine, e.g. Assassins Creed 3 and GTA4.

Some game do not sync, e.g. Fable 2, Too Human, Dragon Age Origins and Star Wars Unleashed.

Far Cry 2, on the other hand, did not download my cloud save in February/ March. However, it started to sync yesterday. I did not play the game on any other console. I didn't change anything, so why didn't it sync before? And why are some games still not syncing?

It's clear that Far Cry 2 had save data in the cloud, but it wasn't syncing. So what changed?

Thank you for the information. We can pull up the Xbox 360 guide on the Xbox One when you load up Fable 2 and from the Xbox guide you can go to the Storage section and then delete the cloud storage you want to choose.

First, load up Fable 2 and then press the Menu and View button (small black buttons below Xbox button) at the same time and the 360 guide should pull up. From the guide, scroll to the right to Settings and then select System Settings. Select Storage and
then Cloud Saved Games, select Games & Apps, find Fable 2 and delete the save that you want.
