I can't remove a payment method

Hello everybody I need help, automatic renewal is already deactivated on my xbox live account since last month, right now I'm a free xbox live member but why this message appears on my screen everytime I try to remove a visa credit card(it's my sister's
credit card it's not mine)I need to remove this payment option since I'm not going to use it anymore. this is the message on my screen:

This payment option can't be removed until the charge waiting for it is paid. If this payment option is used for a subscription, you'll need to call support to remove it.

I had a xbox live account active a few days days ago but it has expired, I don't know what's going on sorry English is not my language.

XOne "Use a different way to pay" problem

Go to billing.Microsoft.com, pull up your account, remove you payment methods, then re-ad your payment methods.

Profit.(for Microsoft)

I'm sorry to see any issues removing PayPal from your account! In order to remove the account completely, you will need to have another payment option on your account while you still have Gold. Once your Gold lapses, you will be able to remove PayPal as
an option if you are unable to add a new payment option.

You'll need to contact support directly so billing can help you get it sorted.

You can also check Sign in to your Microsoft account to see if it shows what the charge is for and what balance you may owe. It does sound like auto-renew may not have been turned off and you now have
a balance you have to pay before you can continue using the service.

Yeah, that definitely looks like they were unable to charge you for a monthly subscription so you now owe $10.69. You would have to add another card in order to pay off the charge which is what the update credit card link is for.

 

Another card? my sister only have 1 credit card. What can I do? can my sister pay with the same credit card but with a different option like paypal? Another question, how can my sister pay that charge? can she pay using their local bank? The problem is
that I am not from US and my English is not good so I can't talk by phone with an American person, I live in Puerto Rico and I only can understand English by text but not that much like a bilingual person.

and another question, how can I make sure auto-renew is off? thanks i'm desperate and sorry for all the questions.

 

You should be able to add a Paypal and pay off the balance that way. I believe as long as you have another payment method added you can pay it off that way. But like I said, you may have to contact support to have them help you get it sorted out.

As far as auto-renewal, if you click on the "My Account" link on the top of the forums it'll take you to your account information. Check under your subscriptions and make sure auto-renewal is set to off.
