    i set a code for my avatar and have not played in a year now i cant remeber it

    If you have a forgotten family settings code, Microsoft made sure, that kids can't reset the family code with a standard default code without their parent's knowing.

    To reset a forgotten family code, you will have to
    contact the official Xbox support     and tell them the console serial number. From that, an unique reset code is generated, and you are being walked through the reset process.
