I can't register Xbox One Controller (White, model 1708).

Hello.

I'm on the add device page

When I enter the serial number, a message pops up saying this serial number was not recognized

What I should do now?

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you are having issues with controller serial number. In this case you would need to reach out to support. They will be the ones to assist you further.

When you go to Contact Us,follow these steps to request a call from support:

Step 1 ----click on Contact us
Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Subscriptions & billing
Step 3-----under what is the issue I can't redeem a code then hit next

Step 4 ----scroll down to select request a call

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

Im using it through installation but its not getting reconised by my pc. The controller alone works fine with my xbox however its working on my pc. Its the 1708 Model controller which is not working but my other one is also a 1708 Model but it is beeing recoised by my pc.

Yes, elite series 2 is not supported yet.

Xbox One S Controller (Model 1708) can pair with iphone.

Hi nvsss58,

I believe that model 1537 is the first gen of Xbox One controllers, it does not have Bluetooth connectivity. When connecting to the Xbox it uses 2.4ghz to connect.

The Bluetooth capable controllers are from model 1708 (released 2016) onwards.
