I can't register my Xbox Controller

I purcahsed an Xbox Wireless Controller Model 1914 for my PC last month and I can't register it in my Microsoft Account, it says "We couldn't find the serial number".

I have tried multiple times. I am sure its a genuine product because it works flawlessly with everything.

What can I do?

As far as I know you can't register any controller I tried to register my elite controller but the serial number was the wrong length

Yes. I did all 3 steps, and I've got information that my controller had to be replaced. I can't register it. I can register only new xbox one device.

Hi, I have basicly the same problem, but my bumper is already falling ot of the controller!

Problem is, i can't register my controller, in fact you cannot register any Xbox accessories for repair and service

So what am I supposed to do now?

Sorry to hear you are having an issue registering the controller. If its not taking the 25 digit serial number, I would suggest speaking to Xbox Support as they may be able to help you with getting it registered.
