    I Can't redownload my xbox live account


    I don't have an answer but I have something similar; My profile was corrupted so I deleted it, and I keep trying to redownload it, I get as far as selecting a storage device then it starts downloading and all of a sudden stops and pops up with the error
    message "Sorry Xbox Live profiles can't be downloaded right now. Try again later." the code is 80004005 and I can't seem to find anything to fix this.

    license transfer question

    I got my kids a 360 for their birthday. Over the years I've downloaded several games for them with my account. I hit license transfer and to put them on theirs not thinking it through. Will the others still be licensed to mineif I connect to live? When exactly does Xbox live change it when you select the transfer and the redownload just lets the 360 know, or does the redownload itself change it?

    Hey kirby,

    Sorry to hear you're having issues downloading your profile.

    For that particular error code, there are a couple steps I would recommend trying in this order:



    If none of those steps work for you, there are some other things that would help us narrow this down:

    1. If possible, try downloading to a different storage device
    2. If possible, try downloading your profile using a different internet connection
    Please keep us posted on how things go and we'll work from there.

    Another alternative if you have a friend living nearby who has xbox you could try downloading to a flash drive (needs to be formatted for use with a xbox) and then trying to copy back to your console. If this options not available for you I hope the above
    works for you.

    Error code 80151912.

    Same thing is happening to me, I tried deleting my profile and redownloading it and I still can't connect to my account on Xbox Live, even after confirming with email/text/phone method.

    Another option is to redownload the profile.

    I had a simaliar issue and it was solved by redownloading my Xbox Live Account:



    When Starting-up your Xbox, go to the right and select Download Xbox Live Profile.

    Please note that you need to know your e-mail adress and password that are connected with your Xbox Live Profile.

    You can find
    your e-mail adress and password here     if you can't remember.
