Discus and support I can't purchase games and [Mod Removed] with my Microsoft Account balance in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So I bought a prepaid code that had exactly $50 in USD and redeemed it on Dec. 29, 2014, right now (Dec. 31) I tried purchasing the game: Plants Vs...     I can't purchase games and [Mod Removed] with my Microsoft Account balance


    So I bought a prepaid code that had exactly $50 in USD and redeemed it on Dec. 29, 2014, right now (Dec. 31) I tried purchasing the game: Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare and the only option it showed when I pressed "Add Payment Options" was "Add
    Credit Card" and no other! I looked for instructions and I'm supposed to use my MSA (Microsoft Account) as an option but it showed no such thing!

    I stalked the forums again and it showed other gamers having similar problems.

    I did what Support told me to do but they didn't work.

    I'm about to contact support but I thought I'd post this to see if there are other ways through.

    Please Xbox, I really need this. I really love your consoles and all that (I own an Xbox 360... Hooray!) but believe me when I say that I'll leave your network forever and join PS4. If you don't care about what your customers do and buy, then that's
    it...

    I'm speaking for the other gamers out there having these problems. We're protesting that you absolutely FIX the site NOW. Like I said, it's like you don't care that your customers are having problems...

    You have until Valentine's Day to fix this problem. If you don't then I'm leaving Xbox forever...

    P.S. I'm not threatening you or bluffing either.

    Yes, account balance can be used to purchase game pass, i just purchased it today part of it was paid with a partial balance i had on my microsoft account and the rest was paid with my paypal account.

    I did not check my microsoft account balance about one year. I check my transactions list today, it should have balance about $NT472 (my last transaction date is on 2013/11), but it's gone, my account balance is NT$0. Could you help to check this issue

    Hi, it's me again.

    I did check in the console but what happened is the same thing in the website happened!

    *** Microsoft... their customer service is the WORSE. I think I'm gonna switch to the PS4 soon.

    Oh and one more thing...

    I was stalking the forums and one discussion said that when they asked support on what to do, some bloke said they could try deleting his account and fix everything.

    I MEAN SERIOUSLY, WHO DELETES AN ACCOUNT WHEN THEY'RE NOT SURE?

    Anyways, I still have hope, it's only that this hope will run out soon.

    Are you talking about the offline profile that was deleted?

    Usually support asks you first if the profile is online some people do skip that step or misunderstand it

    The reason why one deletes the online profile data is to get rid of corrupted files

    Then you download a fresh copy from the server.

    Its not really the support agents fault he can only go by what the user is saying

    They can't see what is on your console.

    They have to go by what users are telling them

    The only reason why ms account wouldnt show up is if you are using it from the website or you redeemed the wrong currency card or onto the wrong account

    Currency cards are region specific

    Us cards won't work in canada or UK for example

    You can check your balance and which currency you have at commerce.microsoft.com

    Currency cannot be transfered over between regions

    This is my ONLY account and when I went to check my account balance, it showed exactly 50 USD. When I also try to buy games online or through my console, games and/or DLCs show up with the $ sign so that means everything is fine? The only problem I actually

    Is your account region also us?

    If not

    That would be your issue

    You purchased USD ms currency card which cannot be used or accessed from a uae accounts

    Ms points and currency cards are region specific and always has been regardless of the system you use

    You can only spend usd currency on a us account

    What error code or message are you receiving?

    What region is your account?

    What region do you physically live in?

    Transferring money between family members

    This is the lamest thing I've ever heard of and its down right some shady [Mod Removed] that Micro$oft is doing.

    A parental / master account should be able to transfer funds to / from children accounts with ease. This nonsense of locking money to a specific acct is
    [Mod Removed]. I'm beyond frustrated with M$ regarding the handling of funds. It's all one family unit and all monies should be transferrable between the accounts as directed by the family manager(s).

    I've got $50 sitting on my son's acct that I can't do anything with and they refuse to issue a refund. In my son's example, he downloaded the Roblox game from the Microsoft Store. He then wanted ROBUX and asked me to add money to his acct, of which I did.
    Come to find out, you can't buy ROBUX for PC using your Microsoft Acct balance. That makes no sense. One would logically assume that if you buy/download a game from the Microsoft Store, then that particulars game in-app content should also be purchasable
    from your account balance. I hate M$ because of stupid [Mod Removed] like this.
