I can't play xbox 360 games on my xbox after clearing my local xbox 360 storage

For a while I haven't been able to sign into xbox live whilst playing my xbox 360 games. I decided to clear my local 360 storage which made the problem worse. Now whenever I load into an xbox 360 game it will ask me to sign in and then download a profile. When I press on it, it then says that I can't connect to xbox live and to test my network connection. My network is fine and I can play xbox one games that use network and xbox live so I don't know what to do. I've reset the console and done everything another thread on here talked about but nothing works.

On your console go to "settings" then "system" then "storage" & pick "clear local xbox 360 storage".

My game was running like you've described but after I cleared the 360 storage it runs fine now.

Just wish it would connect to all the online features in game.

Xbox Live for the Xbox 360 is currently down at the moment. No ETA on a fix.

Hey, my main profile was from my xbox 360, so if i clear local xbox 360 storage will it get rid of my profile, if not will it get rid of gamerscore earned from my xbox 360

Try going into the Xbox One settings, storage, and the clearing the 360 local storage.

After that, try launching the game again, and it should load the cloud storage.

When I go to storage on the xbox one under settings, all that is listed is clear local saved games , clear local xbox 360, and manage local storage, there is no option for cloud storage. Also when I bring up the xbox guide while playing call of duty 2
there is no saved game data there either.
