I cant play online

I reedemed a Three month Xblox live gold gift card earlier it said successful but when i try to play a game online it tells me i need xbox live gold even though i just reedem Three months of gold i checked and it says i have 3 months of gold on the Microsoft
website but i still cant play online.

Do you get an error message or error code of any kind when you attempt to go online? This will help determine what your problem is.

Any code man... just the same message from almost all games tha "YOU DONT HAVE THE PERMISSIONS TO THIS FEATURE (PLAY MODE)" or something like that... and only when I want to play online the Xbox send me to the Xbox live purchase but when i go to the suscription
screen, my suscription is valid...

You should be able to play online with a Gold subscription. Make sure the subscription is on the correct account. Also, make the account with the Gold subscriptions the console's home xbox.

if you just activated it remember that sometimes it may take some hours before you can play online.

Try the following, please.

Go to settings>apps>apps and features>find the Xbox app, when you find it click the left mouse button on it, then select advanced options, click finish and then restore or repair.
