    Please help i wanna play some online with my friends but for some reason it says i need Xbox live on my account i tried hard resetting my console and tried resetting the internet nothing changed don't know what to do please help microsoft.

    Trial codes don't change your account status to gold. They only give you access to some benefits of online multiplayer. They will not work with all games or all game modes.

    Have you done a complete shutdown of your console where you plug it out from the power source and wait 5 minutes before switching it back on.
