I can't play online and I just bought a one month subscription about 3 days ago

Fr bro I just bought it 2 days ago and I can't play online like ****.

Just bought my xbox one s about a month ago, was working fine untill about 3 or 4 days ago. first, i would be playing the game then all of a sudden the entire system would shut off in the middle of online gameplay. then i was playing one night turned
the game off and went to sleep, the following day after coming home from work i tried to play the game but has no signal on tv,the system turns on but it shows no signal on tv. ive bought a brand new hdmi cord to see if that would fix it but still nothing...
can anyone help with my problem???

no , I never had a subscription. I bought the digital version about three months ago and I played it a couple of times, and now I can't access it.

Do I necessarily need game pass subscription or something like that?

I also can't find where to get the free month I heard about. It says I'm on a free subscription but I still can't play online. It only gives me options to buy 1 month, 3 months, 1 year or to redeem a code

I also bought a 3 month gold subscription card about a month ago which also keeps giving me errors every time I have tried to use it.
