    I can't play my xbox games.


    I can't play my xbox games because I bought them on my other account but I play a lot on my main one. My other account doesn't let me set home xbox for some reason please help. Even if I could get an extra home xbox option that would be a life saver. Thank

    It is currently a known issue: Xbox Live Service Status | Xbox Live Service Outage

    Affected services:

    Yeh it's my account but for some reason I don't have a set xbox as home xbox for some reason

    Odd. Usually this would only happen if another console had been set up as your home console or you've used the 3 times switch limit per year.

    No.

    You have to wait a year from the last time you used the last of the 3 times you used the "home" option.

    Hey Hyper Phoenix3,

    Lets try some things:

    1) PowerCycle

    - Press and hold the white Xbox Button on the Console until it shuts off.

    - Unplug the power brick from both sides for around 2 minutes.

    - Replug and Restart your Console. Try again.

    If the error still occurs try the next step:

    2) Reset

    - Power off your console

    - Unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

    - Wait 30 seconds, then plug the power cord back in.

    - Press and hold the BIND button (Xbox One: located on the left side of the console, Xbox One S: located on the front below the power button) and the EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button on the console.

    - Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

    - The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

    - On the Troubleshooter select "Reset" and when asked select the option to "Keep your Games and Apps".

    Make sure you know your Email / Password combination of your Account before you do the Reset.

    3) Offline Update

    - Perform the Offline Update as explainded here under "I need to Update my Console offline" http://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/console/system-updates-solution

    Let us know if that worked or not

    Hi rossmfh76,

    Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue. I can definitely see that it would be a problem, and a frustrating one, to attempt to clear your local saves, but the options on the Storage area aren't populating. As that section isn't showing
    up, here are a couple of troubleshooting steps to try to get that to populate so that you may continue in deleting those local saves:

    1. Try
      physically power cycling your console
      first to see if the section will then populate. If it doesn't, then
    2. Perform a
      soft factory reset to the console (leaving the games & apps installed)
      to clear any potentially corrupting files from the console's OS that may be causing this to happen.

    Be sure to know the log in credentials (email address & password) to your profiles on the console as they'll be removed during this reset process. If you have any external devices plugged into the console, be sure to disconnect those as well. Hopefully
    this will then allow you to go to Settings > System > Storage and provide the option to clear those local saves.

    Give this a try and let us know the results.
