    I cant play my games!

    so i just started up my xbox one s and tried to play a game(Rocket League). but instead it says "The Person Who Bought This Needs To Sign In" i did it a couple more times and it would say the same thing but sometimes it also just says "Something went wrong".
    this happens for all my downloaded games. i've rebooted the xbox numerous times and it would say the same thing.
    PLEASE HELP

    This was likely due to a service alert that was up effecting the ability to play downloaded games and apps. You should be able to use them now that the alert has lifted. If you continue to have this problem please post back.

    Hi there,

    So with the 'Game sharing technique' tou have described it is not necessarily the most legitimate way of playing one copy of the game through multiple accounts.

    The idea of sharing gold which Microsoft provide is intended to give people that actually share an xbox in the same household the ability to use gold or share downloaded games if they are legitimately in the same house e.g. siblings using one console between
    them.

    When you start trying to set each others consoles and putting them as the other Home console its not alway going to work as that is not officially the purpose of that service. What you can find with this method is sometimes it won't work at all and it recognises
    that the account trying to play the game is not the one that purchased it and on other occasions it will require the account that owns the title to be signed in at the same time.

    With your own personal bought games, they should indeed appear in your purchase history, so if you are certain that Modern Warfare is your game which you have purchase then unfortunately the only thing you can do at this point is to contact Microsoft/Xbox
    support directly as this is an account issue and you will not be able to get a solution through the xbox community forums.

    Support.xbox.com is the only option you have for this as with all purchase /account problems.

    I apologise if this is not the answer you may have wanted to hear but its is the only option for you with regard to this issue.
