I can't play my games...again

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue. I can definitely see that it would be a problem, and a frustrating one, to attempt to clear your local saves, but the options on the Storage area aren't populating. As that section isn't showing
up, here are a couple of troubleshooting steps to try to get that to populate so that you may continue in deleting those local saves:

1. Try
   physically power cycling your console first to see if the section will then populate. If it doesn't, then
2. Perform a
   soft factory reset to the console (leaving the games & apps installed) to clear any potentially corrupting files from the console's OS that may be causing this to happen.
   

Be sure to know the log in credentials (email address & password) to your profiles on the console as they'll be removed during this reset process. If you have any external devices plugged into the console, be sure to disconnect those as well. Hopefully
this will then allow you to go to Settings > System > Storage and provide the option to clear those local saves.

Give this a try and let us know the results.

Hey, thanks for the advice. I power cycled it. The storage option then appeared, so i tried to clear the storage but i just got the "something went wrong" message again. It was totally unresponsive, so I've unplugged it and given up.

Hi XBF Amber M, you sound like you know what you are talking about. I've had this XBOX for 4 months. In that time I have had to power cycle it 20+ times, i have had to factory reset it four times and have uninstalled and reinstalled Forza Horizon 4 three
times (8 and a half hours each time). This is my first XBOX One. Is this normal or have i got a rubbish one? Thanks for the advice. I really appreciate it.

No, this is not a common thing. At this point, I would have to recommend that you

create a new service order in order to get your console looked at by the Service Center.

All consoles carry one-year manufacture warranty, so you should be able to get your console repaired at no expense, considering the length you have had your console.

This can be done by following some simple steps: First, sign in at
Device Supportand then select
Register new device. After you've registered, you’ll see the warranty status for your device.

After you’ve registered your devices, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to the
   Device repairpage with your Microsoft account credentials.
2. In the Overview section of the Device repair page, select
   Repair my device.
3. Follow the onscreen steps to complete your service order request.

I'm sorry about any confusion or turmoil this might have incurred.

And no my internet is just fine. It cause the xbox core services keep going down and i always gets the short end of the stick so every time it happens my services go with it.
