I can't play multiplayer on minecraft...?

For the record, I already checked my privacy settings. I checked multiple times. The settings should allow me to play online. And yet, when I load up minecraft I'm continually given the "you cannot play on Realms because of how your Microsoft Account is set up" as well as other variations of the same thing when I try to join from an invite. I have reviewed my settings and nothing has changed since I last played, but suddenly I can no longer play online? Is there some other fix for this? I've tried restarting, I've tried signing out, and I've already triple checked the settings. I don't see what the problem is.

First, welcome to the Xbox community. Given the information you've provided, I believe it may be a problem with the way your account is set up because your account is a child's multiplayer mode is probably disabled, so you should follow the instructions below to resolve this.

If your account is a child/teenager you will have to ask an adult to create a Microsoft account and invite you to a family group so that person can manage your privacy settings. To create a family group, please use the information provided in the article below.

-Once an adult creates an account and adds you to their family group, they should follow the instructions below.

Visit the website: https://account.xbox.com/en-us/settings

The adult must have his account logged in at the moment, and then he will see your profile and hers, he must change the settings of his profile, in the case of the child.

In the privacy tab check that the options, "You can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice & text" and Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites" are set to allow.

Also, check the Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety tab, and see if the ''You can join multiplayer games'' option is set to allow.

Hi Ilay, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

For you to manage it you can simply sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings.

If the system detects that your account is a child account you will be redirected to a support site and if not you will be able to change it successfully.

If you were redirected to a support page, please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/family and check if there is an organizer account linked to your account then use the organizer account so sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings then "allow" the setting on this screenshot:
