I can't play Multiplayer on Minecraft Switch Edition

So, as I am playing Minecraft on my Nintendo Switch, there was one thing I wanted to try and that was multiplayer, but as most people, it said "You cannot play online multiplayer because of how my account is set up. " I tried to solve it on my PC, iPhone,
and Amazon Tablet, but I couldn't find the solution. I even went on your website and looked up "aka.ms/accountsettings, but I couldn't find it there either. Can there be a solution to this?

Hi Kirk,

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. We understand unable to join multiplayer due to account settings. There are two that you need to allow on the Xbox profile side under Xbox live privacy go to communication and multiplayer, Select allow or
everybody on "you can play with people outside Xbox live, and You can communicate outside of Xbox live with voice and text. Also make sure you have a Nintendo Switch online subscription.

To play Minecraft with players on Xbox and PlayStation while you're on a Nintendo Switch, make sure all players are using the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft, which supports cross-platform play across these consoles.

Older editions of Minecraft on console will not work.

Sign in with a Microsoft account on your Nintendo Switch, and add your friends using their Xbox Gamertags,

Make sure everyone have the mandatory online subscriptions (Nintendo Switch Online, Xbox Game Pass Core, PlayStation Plus) for online multiplayer. Otherwise, online multiplayer will not work.

Once done, select “Play” and you'll see your friends in the “Friends” tab. You can join them in their world, or even create a Realm to play together.
