I can't play GTA V because the the installation isn't finished

When you finish the Gta V download go into the game then back out once you see the pictures. Then it will download 4 more things THEN you can play Gta V

If GTA V is indeed downloaded from the marketplace and not a disc, try this.

Delete GTA V and clear your cache 3 times.

Restart your console.

Download 16 GB of demos (this is how big GTA V will be in the end)

Once those have finished download all the GTA V files from your download history (GTA V, Installation Packs 1-4)

After you've done that, feel free to delete the demos.

This worked for me, hopefully it works for you too!

hi.. couple of days ago installed 1st disc of gta v in my pen drive and played the game after that. i have finished 4 missions. but when i tried to play the game second time last night, it says that i need to insert disc 1 and install a game again? why is

Do not install GTA V to your hard drive. rockstar has already advised against this because it messes the game itself up by causing severe texture pop in and sometimes works the xbox harder. I have a similar issue with GTA and it happens mainly if I shut
my Xbox off with the game in it. The reason is most likely due to GTA working the 360 like crazy, cause my laser has started making weird noises. The reason your other games are working is cause you are putting them fresh into your drive. My advice? Get into
the habit of taking GTA out of your disc drive when you are finished playing. A good way to see if it isn't just GTA is to leave another game in the drive and shut it off and restart. Although if you start playing an Xbox live arcade game or a full game you
have installed on your hard drive and get the disc is unreadable message then it is due to a faulty hard drive

GTA V will have 2 discs on 360 (dvd).You install both, you play with one...

GTA V will have 1 disc (blu ray) on PS3. You install it, you play with it.

And you call that innovation ?
